Hi! I'm Liz, the passionate pet lover who founded Franklin's Finery, a unique pet accessory brand for giant breeds and their smaller furry friends. Thank you for stopping by! 

 

I'm an animal lover, a mom of three teens, a Navy veteran, and a Navy spouse. I have a degree in Special Education but have yet to use it professionally due to moving frequently with the Navy. Before my kids came along, I worked at various animal shelters and veterinary clinics across the U.S. Once my kids were born, I became a stay-at-home mom and eventually a homeschooling mom. 

 

Dogs have been a constant in my life, a source of joy and companionship. My family owned Old English Sheepdogs growing up, but my heart always longed for a giant dog. Shortly after I married, we welcomed Indy, our first English mastiff. He was a true mama's boy. Over the last 25 years, we have shared our home with 9 English Mastiffs and 2 English Bulldogs, most of them senior rescues. It's always been a challenge to find fun fashions for giant breeds, and that's how Franklin's Finery was born. My deep connection to these gentle giants fuels my passion for creating unique and stylish bandanas for them and their smaller furry friends. I have so many ideas that I hope to bring to life soon for dogs AND those who love them, so check back often!
